On Thursday, November 30, 2023, 219 Food and Spirits had the pleasure of hosting the Fox and Friends Breakfast special at 6 AM with Lawrence Jones. This was a special event as 219 Food and Spirits is not open for breakfast, and I, Madison Shiver, had the amazing opportunity to be a part of it. 

219 Food and Spirits has many faithful local guests who visit the restaurant nightly. It is a home for many, with frequently held special nights to keep guests entertained, such as Tuesday night Bingo, Wednesday night Steak, Bake and Brew, Thursday night Trivia, and Friday night live Music. During the Spring and Summer months, there is also Saturday night live music. 

All the local restaurant-goers showed up early Thursday morning to show their support for this small-town hotspot and with hopes of meeting the host and getting a chance to be on live national TV. That night was the big debate between Ron Desantis and Gavin Newsome, so the host asked many questions about the political stance of the locals and who they thought would win the debate and the next election. I had the chance to speak with some of the locals that I have known for many years, and many of them expressed what an amazing opportunity this was to put 219 on the map and support small businesses. They were eager and overjoyed to see that 219 was of interest on a national level. 

219 Food and Spirits is home to not only the best company but also the best food and drinks. Throughout the month of December, they have a limited seasonal menu with featured drinks and entrees that will keep you coming back for more.
