Back-to-school season is just around the corner, and for hundreds of families in the Chattahoochee Valley, this year’s prep comes with a little extra help—and a lot of heart.

On July 25, from 2 PM to 5 PM, the Bill and Olivia Amos Children’s Hospital will host the Stuff the Backpack giveaway event—offering free backpacks filled with school supplies to the first 300 children who attend.

Presented in partnership with Piedmont Columbus Regional, Safe Kids Columbus, and NBC 38 WLTC, this event is all about setting kids up for success while giving families one less thing to worry about.

Parents and caregivers are encouraged to arrive early, as supplies are limited and will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis. Each backpack is packed with essential school supplies—ready to carry students through their first day and beyond.
